"Hi, my name is Lily Tang Williams. Welcome to my 'live free or die' state," she began.

"Actually, I am a Chinese immigrant who survived communism, and under Mao, you know, 40 million people were starving to death after he sold communism to them. And 20 million people died ... murdered during his Cultural Revolution," she continued.

She then specifically addressed Hogg: "So, my question to you, David, is that can you guarantee me, a gun owner, tonight, our government in the U.S., in D.C., will never, never become a tyrannical government? Can you guarantee that to me?"

In an interview with Univision, President Joe Biden said he will consider taking further executive action on guns and criticized 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump for how he “famously told the NRA that, don’t worry, no one’s going to touch your guns” if Trump won.

In recent years, we’ve seen high courts rule on many Democrat-led policies. The SCOTUS has led the way striking down some of the left’s favorite pet agendas. But courts across the land have been taking a hard look at Democrats’ big-government platform.

Pennsylvania police said that a woman was able to shoot and kill one home intruder and send another to a hospital after being ambushed at her Philadelphia apartment.

The woman arrived at her apartment on the first floor of a row home on Chestnut with her boyfriend at about 2 a.m. on March 29 when three armed men grabbed her, according to police.

The woman shot two of the men during a brief scuffle where 13 shots were fired.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office — which took over the investigation because a family member of the homeowner is a part-time Collinsville police employee, the station said — determined that the homeowner asked Gagen leave the residence's front porch, but Gagen refused.

The homeowner feared for his safety and got a gun from inside the home while making "numerous" requests for Gagen to leave, KDSK noted.

When Vice President Kamala Harris toured the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School this week, site of the infamous 2018 Parkland, Florida, mass shooting, she pushed for more gun control and called for communities to accept more federal help in stopping school shootings. “I will continue to advocate for what we must do in terms of universal background checks and assault weapons ban” Harris said.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin vetoed dozens of Democrat anti-gun bills this week. Thirty bills in total passed by the General Assembly, Youngkin believes they step on the rights of law-abiding citizens.

One of the bills is HB 2, which was aimed at banning the sale or acquisition of new “assault rifles.”
